KFF's health policy research staff has been hard at work not only responding to the many profound changes underway in health policy and public health, but also updating our Health Policy 101 chapters to provide the latest information and data.
You can view all the updated content here. Important updates include details about health policy changes that were part of the tax-and-spending law, such as Medicaid cuts and new work requirements; major shifts in vaccine policies; the restructuring of the health agencies; reduced federal support and changes to the U.S. public health infrastructure; Supreme Court decisions on access to reproductive health care; the elimination of federal diversity and disparities-related initiatives, and more.
Throughout these chapters, and our work overall, we remain focused on how health policy affects people. Given the changes we're seeing and the proliferation of misinformation about our issues, we will continue to provide regular updates to these chapters, and I welcome your ideas for new topics.
If you have suggestions for topics that would be helpful for your courses or work, please write me directly at daltman101@kff.org. And you can always sign up to receive KFF's timely emails and releases.
